My Memory
Tuesday, March 16, 2010 @ 12:38 AM

I was 11,
It was my first time being so far away from home in a land called austrailia.
The bus took us to a ranch in the mountains
where there were vast stretches of mountains and greenery, nothing like what I've seen before,
nothing like the monstrous skyscrapers in Singapore. Our guide took us to the stables that housed many beautiful horses with such nice colours and patterns on their bodies. We were allowed to look around and choose our very own horse to ride. Excited, I walked around to see if any of them caught my eye. Right in front of me there was this really beautiful dark brown horse with deep brown eyes and long eye lashes to match. I chose her, and her name was Goldie. We rode around the ranch and I felt so happy. Not those ordinary kind of happy, but the one where it lights up your soul, and lets you remember that exact moment. This memory wasn't some super special and crazy moment in my life. It was just me and Goldie riding in the mountains. But the simplicity of that moment and the breathtaking surroundings made it one of the most unforgetable memory. Even until I'm like almost 18. I close my eyes and I can still see everything around me back there.
How nice. I want to go back there! Maybe, by some twist of fate, I can have my very own horse as beautiful and gentle as Goldie.
Sigh.
Go for horse riding in Singapore? Forget it.
Either there's a weird guy holding onto the reins(zoo), or you're riding in a 6m x 6m riding pen(riding school). That shouldn't even be called horse riding. It should be "what the fish am i doing riding a horse in such a pathetic place"
Boooooooooo!
and i fell sick thanks to my weak throat, AGAIN.
Just great! :D
